Connectivity Analysis in Vehicular Ad-hoc Network based on VDTN

In the last decade, user demand has been increasing exponentially based on modern communication systems. One of these new technologies is known as mobile ad-hoc networking (MANET). part MANET called a vehicular network (VANET). It different types such vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), delay-tolerant networks, and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I). To provide sufficient quality service in Vehicular Delay-Tolerant Network (VDTN), it important to present comprehensive survey that shows challenges limitations VANET. this paper, we focus one type VANET, which VDTNs. investigate realistic systems considered intelligent transportation (ITSs) possibility replacing roadside unit with VDTN. Many factors can affect message propagation delay. When road-side units (RSUs) are present, leads an increase delivery efficiency since RSUs collaborate vehicles road throughput network, propose methods environment vehicle traffic evaluation newly suggested VDTN routing method. Furthermore, prospects presented stimulate interest scientific community.
